About the federation
The Curaçao Chess Federation is the governing body for chess in Curaçao. We run the national championships, keep the ratings, train arbiters and select the teams that represent Curaçao abroad.
Our mission
To promote chess on Curaçao: national championships, club competitions, youth chess and national teams.
The federation sanctions tournaments, publishes the rating list and selects national teams for the Chess Olympiad and youth events.
It is run by an elected council of volunteers. Clubs and schools affiliate to the federation, and players join as members.
Our vision
Curaçao back on the Caribbean chess map, with full Olympiad teams.
